In this week's episode of Seddy Bimco, we explore the film 'Night of the Living Deb,' a zombie comedy set in Maine. We discuss the film's themes of revenge, character dynamics, and humor, while also sharing personal anecdotes and trivia about Maine. We do also talk a bit about The Shining. George feels it's a great horror flick, which is fine, but I (this is Tim talking) feel that it is a well made film with really no horror. A lot of blood in the elevator was not scary, and the twin girls in the hallway was not scary. I really feel that Kubrick did not know how to make horror. I was more frightened watching Eyes Wide Shut knowing that activities like we saw in that movie may really happen in the real world. And indeed since that movie came out, we have the revelation of Jeff Epstein. He had not just an estate behind some gates, but an entire island to secretly commit his crimes on.
But enough of me getting serious and writing some sort of Kubrick essay like a first year college student. Why did I draw a tongue stuck to a frozen pole? I did that because it is part of the revenge sequel I created for this movie we watched! Listen to the episode to hear all about it! You'll take a "Shining" to it!
Thanks for stopping by! Onward Christopher Soldiers!
